I took a scrap of burnt curtain from an abandoned house. This is something I would not usually do, I try not to even leave footprints on sand. I returned a week later and made a new almost-curtain out of shadow chiffon. I cut my silhouette and restitched it carefully back into the slippery rectangle. The fabric is there but only just. I will revisit in a few weeks to see if it makes it through these summer storms.
